Our Wellington Wētā Cave team offer tour experiences, creative workshops, and events that are our chance to share our creativity with the world, providing visitors up-close experiences into the craftsmanship that happens within our workshop every day.

At our Wētā Cave retail store guests can purchase props, merchandise and collectibles. The coolest thing about the items we sell? They are designed and made by the same artists who make the epic stuff you see in films.

As the awesomely approachable face of Wētā Workshop, you'll be rubbing shoulders with not only the most passionate and dedicated fan base on the planet, but families, film fans, and guests from all over the world.

You'll be energetic and charismatic and have a love for creativity in all its forms, representing and showcase Wētā Workshop to our beloved guests, through:

• Delivering a unique guest experience

• Inspiring and connecting our guests to our creativity

• Hosting events and creative workshops

• Ensuring guest wellbeing

• Providing a great retail experience in our Wētā Cave

We look for people with a background in hosting, tour guiding or similar customer service roles - as well as a passion for the work we do.

If you're keen to be part of the team, then submit an expression of interest and we'll be in touch next time we have roles to fill.

We generally recruit and train new Hosts around June and October, and sometime around school holidays around March/April.

We also have ad-hoc recruitment from time-to-time, and we reach out to people who've submitted expressions of interest first for those roles.
