You'll need a proven background in experience design, architecture, exhibition design, spatial design or themed entertainment, and a solid portfolio showcasing your ability to craft breathtaking location-based experiences, immersive theatre, cultural destinations, themed attractions and/or cinematic worlds, we want to hear from you.
Our preference is generally for people to be onsite here in Miramar, Wellington, but we're also open to remote collaborations with more expeirenced designers.
It is essential that you are proficient with:
Adobe Suite/Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop)
Rhino
Vectorworks
And experience with Revit, Grasshopper and Blender is a plus, too.
Just some things to note:
We can't consider applications without a portfolio - so please include one (ideally an online portfolio, but a PDF version is also fine)
This is an expression of interest only, we don't have a live job at this point in time. We'll reach out when there is an opportunity available.
For live roles, please keep an eye out on our careers website, or Connect below to be alerted whenever new roles get listed.
Depending on the project, our opportunities may be fixed-term, permanent or freelance/contract-for-services
All expressions of interest will be reviewed - we'll be in touch when we have a role that matches your skills and experience. There could be project work, or long term work.
You may not hear from us for a while, as our projects vary and the types of skills we need depend on the work we have on. We'll also be back in touch if we don't feel like the work we have in the pipline is a good match at this stage.
We look forward to hearing from you.

What is an expression of interest
An expression of interest is you telling us you're keen for a role next time we're recruiting. It's not an application for an open vacancy, but we'll review and reach out next time we have a role we're looking to fill.
-
How often do you take on new people?
This depends - our work is very much project based. This means we might go a long time inbetween needing new people, or we might suddenly need a lot of people at once!
-
I don't have a work visa - can I still submit an expression of interest?
Short answer, yes. Whenever we are recruiting, people with the right to work in New Zealand already will have an advantage, though.
